Antibiotic resistance is a serious concern for the CDC, the United States government, and global health care systems because it threatens the lives of millions of individuals worldwide. As a result, individual health care professionals are being asked to take part in the global fight against antibiotic resistance. With that in mind, this course reviews the CDC's antibiotic resistance report, Antibiotic Resistance Threats in the United States, 2019, to build antibiotic awareness among health care professionals and to provide vital information required to protect individuals from antibiotic resistance threats.
