CE Course Description
This course is based on meeting the needs of hospitalized individuals with Alzheimer's disease. The main focus is effective communication with these patients as well as personal care techniques and suggestions for working with behaviors and environmental factors in the hospital setting.
CE Course Objectives
1. Enumerate common facts about Alzheimers Disease.
2. Demonstrate understanding of effective communication techniques for AD patients.
3. Show knowledge of ER assessment tips for AD patients.
4. Demonstrate knowledge of general comfort, safety, tube/dressing and behavioral management strategies for AD patients.
