CE Course Description

Millions of children worldwide experience mood disorders, and they can have a profound impact on a child’s academic performance and social interactions, as well as their overall well-being. Recognizing the signs of mood disorders in children allows for early identification and intervention, which significantly improves outcomes. Additionally, such awareness facilitates access to appropriate mental health services and treatments. This, in turn, can lead to improved mental health outcomes, reduced symptoms, and enhanced quality of life for affected children. This course will educate behavioral health professionals in the necessary knowledge and skills to help young people who are experiencing issues related to mood disorders.
