CEU Course Description

Sleep disorders are medical conditions that affect over 70 million Americans (1). Sleep disorders can contribute to chronic disease and poor mental health. A comprehensive health history and sleep analysis is used to diagnose different sleep disorders. A combination of medications and behavioral therapy is often used as the primary treatment for sleep disorders. In this course, participants will learn the importance of identifying and treating different sleep disorders, the impact poor sleep has on physical and mental health, and how healthcare providers can help promote optimal sleep to improve their patient’s quality of life.
