CEU Course Objectives
- Enumerate the socio-demographic characteristics of women associated with an increased risk of violent victimization during pregnancy.
- Investigate which form of violence has the highest prevalence during pregnancy.
- Examine the interventions that can be effective in helping pregnant violence survivors speak to their healthcare providers about the violence, increase their self-protective actions, decrease their mental health symptoms, and reduce the violence in their lives.
